Niagara Falls : see what happened after proposal at the brink of Niagara Falls !

See what happened after Patrick proposed to Patricia at the brink of Niagara Falls
Since the New York Times says, 'don't even think about submitting an article that would make a great Hallmark, made for TV movie, I'm publishing this story here on my blog.
Patrick brought Patricia all the way from Alabama to propose to her.
I've been a professional photographer in New York and Canada for many years.
Engagements are something I photograph fairly often here in the Niagara Falls area, after all,
Niagara Falls is known as one of the most famous addresses the world over.
Last night, I was the second shooter, which means I get to carry the equipment, hand over lenses, hold flashes, etc.
We headed right straight for the brink of the Falls.
As we came around the building, we both said 'wow, the mist is really crazy heavy for photographing' !
So the first thing they did, was walk to the railing to look at the spectacular view and soon the other people had the same idea, so
we moved just a bit farther up, as Patrick had something special in mind.
When we were sure we had an non obstructed view of what was going to happen next.
After I inspected the gorgeous diamond he picked for her, the studio photographer continued doing some romantic poses for the couple who were over the moon happy,
I was doing some casual shots with my cell phone during all this and I turned to the Falls in back of me and the light was intense, so I wasn't looking up into it, but concentrated my focus on over looking the brink of the Falls that was really close and directly in front of me.
I wasn't until I looked at my screen that I saw the photo that I had actually captured and went over to the couple to share with them.
So, the NY Times has lost out on this Hallmark made for TV movie moment, but I was lucky enough to share it with two very special people, Dr. Patricia and Officer Patrick, from Alabama and the Romantic energy that is Niagara Falls and has been for centuries.

This is what they said about Baldini Vandersluys - Wedding & Commercial Photographers-I decided that I needed a photographer to capture the moment I asked my girlfriend to marry me. I looked around and spoke to a couple photographers and when I spoke to Charles he was very helpful over the phone and through email. He sounded very friendly and I really liked that he was helping me with the location to get the perfect spot for my proposal to my girlfriend.
When we were in Niagara Falls,Canada we kept in contact through email and phone calls. We set up the date and location.
I walked to location with the USA falls in the background and I looked around for Charles and spotted him waiting for us ready to snap away. I proposed and he captured the entire proposal. He gave us the thumbs up once I told my fiance that I had someone to capture our special moment. My fiance was so excited and overwhelmed with joy that Charles had captured every moment from when I went down on my knee to when I placed the ring on her finger.
Afterwards Charles was nice to take us in his car to a different location where we took more engagement pictures. He was very helpful and nice giving us tips about where to eat dinner to celebrate our engagement and he also recommended some sight seeing. Afterwards he was very nice to drop us off back at the falls because we did not have a car. My fiance and I are very pleased with the quality of the pictures and the wonderful person Charles was to us in this very special moment in our lives.
